About Me

I'm 44 years old, and need to get fit and lose a lot of weight. I work for a large insurance company in the UK ("Quote me Happy?!") as a programmer working on internet based quotes systems for various life insurance & pension products. I am married to Andrea and we have 5 kids. We live in a tiny 3 bedroom terraced house with 4 of the kids, a dog, 3 cats and several tropical fish.
For fun, I play around on the internet. I somehow ended up being the webmaster for a yahoo games pool league (see links) - but I am useless at real pool! I'm known as "datprogrammer" on yahoo games.
I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (aka Mormons).
I have extremely eclectic tastes in music, from Baroque to Heavy Metal via opera, sacred, country, jazz, pop, etc. I also sing (bass) in a small local choir (DaleSingers) to help raise money for charity. We're no "choir of the year" but we have a lot of fun.
I love anything to do with computers, whether it is building them or programming them, and enjoy all things internet.
